Velocity v2.4 builds on the foundation of its core telephony engine and sees some significant new features and enhancements including a new embedded softphone which allows the developer to create and test their telephony applications without the need for telephony boards.

This latest release introduces several new core telephony functions and also sees significant enhancements to performance as well as direct API support for Dialogic's Host Media Processing 3.0 (HMP) environment.

The Velocity v2.4 Development license is free to download and allows any .Net programmer to start building Computer Telephony applications immediately upon installation. Previous versions of Velocity required a physical USB dongle but the new release now also supports a software based licensing model.
